The Soling 1 Meter was sanctioned in1993 and is the largest radio controlled class sailing today.The Soling 1 Meter is 39.37" long,displaces 10 lbs. and has a mast height of 52". This is a truly low cost one design class. The approximate cost of the kit and misc. parts and supplies needed to finish the boat is $250
